The owner/host shares the home but has a separate entrance and two adorable rescue dogs. They handle all heating and cooling adjustments (no thermostat for guests), but you can request a portable 🔥 heater or 💨 fan for extra comfort. 🏡 The home is older, and you may hear creaks and squeaks from the floor above. If you feel comfortable with sharing your comings and goings (itinerary) with the owner/host, they will do their best to reduce the noise during your stay. 👻🎃🦃 🎁 September - January: ‘Tis the season to turn our homes into merry wonderlands! Last year, we went full throttle with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme—mixing spooky screams with jolly dreams. When you book a stay with us, you’re diving headfirst into a world of animatronics, twinkling lights (yes, some might flash!), and a generous sprinkle of holiday enchantment! Your 5-star thumbs-up is our top priority, and we’re here to make your visit unforgettable. If our holiday flair isn't your cup of eggnog and might affect your 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-star rating, we invite you to explore other local Airbnbs that might tickle your fancy more! 🐕🐕 Side note: The kitchenette and bedroom windows peek out over the backyard, and if the curtains are open, prepare for an enthusiastic welcome from Apollo (blue collar) and his wiggly bottom! Try to ignore him, and he'll insist on a wave or a nod with a bark that says, "Notice me!" We attempt to keep him occupied when guests arrive, but he's quite the attention-seeker. Olympia (teal collar) is all about basking in the spotlight, but only after Apollo gives the guest list his royal seal of approval! She'll swoop in like a ninja and try to nudge him aside. To avoid Apollo’s intrusion, we suggest you keep the curtains closed. Possible Noise Alert: Both dogs are usually in the basement while the owner/host is away and sometimes they will play, bark, and howl. If this could be a bother, please let the owner/host know in advance and they will do their best to accommodate. Guest access Guests have a private entrance. They can cozy up on the front patio with a crackling fireplace (we've got the first round of firewood covered) and enjoy the cabin studio suite. ⛔️ For now, the garage, backyard, and pool are exclusive to the owner (and her dogs). Other things to note 🚽 The home operates on a septic and well system, so please, only toilet paper down the loo 🧻 . Keep wipes, sanitary items, and hair for the garbage bin. 🗑️
