The space Located just past Ellison Bay on the northeast end of Door County, enjoy cooler summers and warmer winters as you watch the sunrise over the lake from your deck or from the comfort of your living room. Search for fossils and shells along the sand and stone of your private beach, or take a dip in the cool, clear waters of Lake Michigan, all while enjoying the soothing sound of the waves washing onto the smooth pebbles. Ten minutes from Ellison Bay, twenty minutes from the food and shopping of Sister Bay, and just minutes from the Washington Island ferry, you’ll be close to everything yet far enough away from it all to be able to relax and enjoy nature, like the gorgeous Hotz Trail in the Europe Bay Natural Area which is just steps away from your front door. Elevated above the lake, the wooded Hotz Trail is perfect for jogging, hiking, cross country skiing, or mushroom hunting, and if you follow it for about a mile it will take you to the sandy, secluded shores of the Liberty Grove Town Park beach. Or take the fork in the trail to visit the beautiful wildlife of Europe Lake, less than a mile away. Once the sun goes down, enjoy time with your loved ones around a fire. Choose the fire pit or the outdoor gas fireplace. And while you’re out there, don’t forget to look up! Our geographic location makes the sky especially dark which is why nearby Newport State Park is Wisconsin’s first International Dark Sky Park. Newport State Park is also a great place to bring your bike and hit the trails. And if the weather isn’t working out, we’ve got you covered! You can watch storms roll in off the lake from the huge picture windows on both floors, or relax with board games, DVDs, books, wifi, and a kids playhouse in the front yard. Thank you for making your reservation with Door County Property Management. Rentals: All rentals are shown as is on the website and there are no refunds. Please ask any questions about the property ahead of your stay. All amenities are listed on each rental webpage. Emergencies & Office Hours: Door County Property Management can be reached between 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, In case of an emergency outside of office hours, we can be reached at our business number and an on-call emergency cell phone number will be provided on the message. We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap and bars of soap. You are responsible for anything not listed. The maximum occupancy and bedrooms are stated on your rental property’s web page and is inclusive of adults & children (including infants). You must always abide by the stated capacity of the house/cottage/condo. Tents, campers, or motor homes are not permitted on the premises Events are not allowed. Smoking: All rental properties prohibit smoking. Lock outs: If you get locked out of your rental during your stay, contact us by phone and we will arrange for you to pick up a key at our office in Sister Bay. Pets: All rental properties prohibit pets, unless otherwise stated. If a pet is found at a non-pet friendly rental you will be *evicted* immediately with no refund. All droppings must be removed. For gas grills: if propane tank is empty, renter should refill it, notify DCPM office during hours, and leave receipt at the property for DCPM to reimburse. For charcoal grills: renter is responsible for providing charcoal. Repairs: All repairs and maintenance problems that may occur will be corrected as soon as possible. There are no reimbursements for minor problems or repairs that are fixed in a timely fashion. With the limited internet resources we have in the area, internet speeds/usage cannot be guaranteed. We are unable to address/adjust the speeds/reliability of internet during your stay. Towels: We provide bath towels, one set of towels per guest is provided. Beach towels are not provided. Linens: We provide linens. Disturbance: Please respect the rights of your neighbors. Please keep outdoor noise minimal after 10 pm for respect to the neighbors and to abide by municipality rules. Multiple late-night complaints from others will result in eviction. Non-adherence to this may result in eviction. Damage: You are responsible for missing or damaged items. NO feminine products are to be flushed in the toilets at any time NO outdoor fires are permitted unless there is a designated fire pit. Failure to comply will result in all renters’ immediate departure, without refund. NO firearms or fireworks are permitted at any time. Failure to comply will result in all renters’ immediate departure, without refund Upon Departure, place all garbage in outside receptacles, wash and store all dishes and start the towels in washing machines. Please turn off lights, TVs, and appliances. Return heat/AC to setting found upon arrival. Please lock all doors. Outside of general cleaning the property should be left as it is found. If any check in/check out items or procedures are not done, you will be charged accordingly. Accidents: Guest expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Door County Property Management and property owners from any accidents, injuries, losses and/or damages to guests while on the property; including in the water, docks, shoreline, fire pits, or any other part or adjacent part of the property. This also includes any use of owner’s boats, kayaks, canoes, rafts, bicycles, etc., that are provided for the tenants use. I understand that if I leave early for any reason I am NOT entitled to a refund. I have read, and I agree to abide by these rules. I understand that violating these rules may result in eviction with no refund. I understand the cost of extraordinary cleaning, garbage removal, phone charges, missing items, and damages may be deducted from my security deposit or charged to my credit card.
