Looking for high-quality accommodation, quiet and cool during the heat waves, then our cozy cottage, located in a pretty Auvergnat village, a true haven of peace and serenity, is for you! This typical Auvergne farmhouse, charming, super equipped with fiber optic WIFI, will charm you. Sheets + towels provided for 3 nights free of charge. Linens + household products always provided. And who comes to our home is "always welcomed like a friend"! The space My husband and I renovated our grandparents' Auvergne farmhouse to make it a cozy, pleasant, super-equipped vacation rental where the authenticity of the house is combined with modernism (super household appliances, pleasant and numerous outdoor equipment) and fiber optic WIFI. On the ground floor (access by two steps) you enter the main room (approx. 16 m²) with kitchenette. This room is very warm as soon as you enter it, as long as the stove is blazing, it's magical. Household appliances: gas and electric stove, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker (supplied), trash can, very large number of dishes. To the right of the front door, there is a small, very cozy living room with two sofas (sleeps 3 + sleeps 2), a TV, DVD player (+DVD), radio, small library, lots of tourist documentation, the FREE BOX, etc. There is also the bathroom with flat shower tray, toilet, sink, towel dryer, storage. Towels provided free of charge and of excellent quality. Shower curtain changed for each stay. There is also access to the laundry room with washing machine, dryer, chest freezer, books, toys, fondue machine, raclette, pressure cooker, picnic supplies, cooler, etc. There is also access to a large 35 m² room: bicycle garage, motorcycles, gas and wood barbecues, children's outdoor games, garden furniture, deckchairs, etc. Upstairs: two bedrooms with very comfortable bedding. Bed linen provided, free of charge. Storage in every room. Complete baby equipment provided upon request (except stroller). Guest access Guests have at their disposal the entire gîte and the fully private outdoor areas. They also have a car shelter (open) at their disposal or closed for motorcycles. Other things to note Vacationers have at their disposal an entire accommodation (nice farmhouse in regional blonde granite), with in addition to the rooms described, a large laundry room and a room where wood, bicycles, outdoor furniture, children's toys (outside) are stored. They have at their disposal a south-facing enclosed courtyard and a bucolic garden to the west. We provide vacationers, for the outside: - 1 gas barbecue with plancha, -1 charcoal barbecue (charcoal provided for the first fire) - Two garden lounges, a swing, a bench, deckchairs, etc. - Sand shell, tractor, etc. for young children. HEATING & ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION (very important): * 8 kW of electricity/night are included in the rental, any surplus is to be paid at the end of the stay at the price of 0.1995/kW in 2025 (TOTAL ENERGIES). The meter is read upon arrival and departure in the presence of the vacationers. * 1/2 cubic meter of firewood is offered for each week of rental in winter and when the weather requires it. The surplus is charged €30 per 1/2 cubic meter in proportion to its consumption of course. Water and gas consumption is never charged. CLEANING: We do not charge a systematic cleaning fee. We believe that this increases the bill for people who prefer to clean before they leave rather than pay an extra cleaning fee. Vacationers must leave the cottage clean on departure but if they do not want to do the cleaning, they can subscribe to a cleaning package for €60 charged at the end of the stay. They have a choice.
