Cosy character cottage

Relax in this renovated , stylish cottage . It is our home from home and dog/child friendly. Next to the Peak District, with direct access to the Middlewood Way and Macclesfield Canal this is a fantastic place for outdoor enthusiasts with lots of National Trusts properties close by. Conveniently located yet quiet with free parking at the front door and cafes, pubs, restaurants, take-aways and shops in easy walking distance. Enjoy the fire in the log burner or the sun on the outside decking. The space This is our home from home so we have made it into a space where we can enjoy family time.The whole house has been refurbished to a high standard including fast Broadband and Hive heating system. The house is situated in a cul-de-sac so very quiet , parking is free just outside the cottage or in the car park 50 metres from the house. The kitchen is fully equipped, the cooker has an integrated air fryer and the washing machine drying facility. There is a barista style coffee machine in the larder. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar as well as breakfast things such as granola, jam, spread and frozen croissants are all provided. There are also basic cooking ingredients such as oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. The dining area is a great space for family meals or romantic dinners for two. The living room is cosy with a new, high quality TV and a log burner to relax in front of. The sofa bed offers another comfortable place to sleep. There are guides and maps in the folder for you to use so you can plan your next adventure. There are also games and books for quiet evenings in. I also provide enough logs/kindling for a fire in the log burner for at least one night of your stay. The hallways offers a glimpse into the history of the area showing photos of some of the workers of the mill who would have lived in this cottage in the past. The bathroom has a beautiful bath - big enough for two - as well as a great shower. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, handwash are all provided as well as bath/hand towels and flannels. The main bedroom offers a king size bed with a luxurious mattress and bedlinen as well as space for just sitting and reading. There is some exercise equipment which you are welcome to use. The second bedroom has a cosy single bed with stylish bedlinen. There is private decking with outside dining furniture overlooking the communal gardens - a gate stops dogs or children wandering off - the green space can be enjoyed by all. No cats please!
