We are half an hour by car (27km) from Bergen. Enjoy a quiet atmosphere in a cozy and tranquil setting. The forest offers great walks. There are several "T" marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. With our rowboat you can enjoy the surroundings from the sea or you can dine outside the garden. The apartment is located 50 m from the sea. Bergen has many attractions, but our guests can use the apartment as a base for exploring the fjords and coastal landscapes around Bergen. We are located in a rural area and the nearest grocery store is 2.5 km away. Askøy is also called "little Norway" for its varied landscape. It is rocky and steep north-west and green and fertile in the southeast. Askøy has its own attractions, such as hiking in the forest, the lakes and the small mountains. There is a golf course, kayak rental and other activities on the beautiful connected island Herdla on Askøys north tip Askøy bridge connects our islands with the mainland. There are buses from the main bus station which is next to the train station and where the bus from the airport also stops.
