This large, well-loved family home is centrally located in Middlebury, just a few blocks from the Coop, downtown and restaurants, and a short walk to Middlebury college. One of the oldest homes in town, it's been lovingly remodeled and offers an open floor plan, equipped chef's kitchen, ample mud room, deck, front porch, and plenty of space to socialize. The heated floors will keep you cozy in the winter, and the two claw-foot tubs are perfect for a relaxing bath. The space On the second floor you'll find a master bedroom with a king bed and bath, a guest room with a queen bed, two kids' rooms with two twin-sized beds each, a full bathroom, and a carpeted 'play room.' The third floor has it's own door, somewhat steep steps, a king bed and ample area for relaxing, working or working out. The main floor 'family room' is great for kids, with a large selection of puzzles, toys, and art supplies. The first floor also hosts the laundry room and a full bath. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, minus the basement, barn, and closets that contain our personal belongings (there is still plenty of closet space for guests). Other things to note 20 minutes to Middlebury Snowbowl, Rikert cross-country ski center, and Blueberry Hill skiing. 40 minutes to Mad River Glen. Just 13 minutes to beautiful Lake Dunmore! Easy access to local hikes and waterfalls.
