Belmont Barn

Escape to our peaceful rural barn conversion in the picturesque Vale of Belvoir - a modern, detached, and pet-friendly retreat designed for comfort. Tucked away in a quiet setting, it offers total privacy and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The space is well-equipped with contemporary amenities, making it the perfect countryside escape with all the convenience of home. The space The barn is a self contained building for your exclusive use, which is adjacent to our property. It was converted and modernised to a high standard in 2024 and is furnished with everything you should need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Downstairs consists of an open-plan living and dining area with a sofa, dining table and smart TV. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, electric oven, induction hob and fridge. Bi-fold patio doors flood the downstairs with light, while integrated blinds offer complete privacy and shade when required. There is good wi-fi throughout. Upstairs is the bedroom, with a very comfortable double bed, and separate bathroom with walk-in shower. Bed linen and plenty of towels are provided. Please be aware there are sloping ceilings in the bedroom. We welcome one well behaved & house-trained pet, but preferably not on the furniture. You are welcome to use the large front garden, secured with stock fencing/chicken wire, for your dog and to close the gate if you wish. Our chickens are in a fenced off run and all we ask is that you don’t allow your dog to bother them. Please note this is an adult only property. Guest access Access is via a gravel drive shared with us but you will have a dedicated off road parking space with room for 2 cars. There is a key safe on the wall at the back of the property with a key for you to access the barn when you arrive. Other things to note The village has a train station (25 mins to both Nottingham and Grantham, every 1-2 hours) and bus route into Nottingham. The Larder is our excellent village shop, supplying everyday groceries, deli offerings and a butchery service, and is open 7 days a week (hours vary). Scenic trails and cycling routes, along with great cafes and country pubs, are plentiful in the area. Holme Pierrepont is an excellent watersports centre nearby and the beauty of Sherwood Forest is only a little further afield. For those seeking urban excitement, Nottingham’s vibrant dining, shopping and entertainment scene is just 30 minutes away. Experience the best of both nature and city life!
