The three-room holiday home "Osteewind" is located in the quiet village of Grundshagen, directly adjacent to the castle town of Klütz, not far from the Baltic coast. The accommodation includes a bright and pleasantly furnished living area (TV, radio available) with an open-plan kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, and coffee maker, as well as a dining area. The kitchen is equipped with basic everyday necessities such as spices, sugar, salt, etc. The holiday home also has two separate bedrooms. One of the two bedrooms has a double bed. The second separate bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed. A spacious shower room completes the accommodations of the holiday home. The covered terrace (accessible from the kitchen) is located directly next to the holiday home. There is seating, so you can start the day in a relaxed manner with a leisurely breakfast. There is also the option of a barbecue. A lawn adjoins the terrace, offering guests additional outdoor space. With us, you can spend your holiday in a rural setting on a small farm. For people with a severe disability rating of 50 or more, €1.00 per person aged 16 and over per day is charged. Water and beaches in the surrounding area: There are numerous beaches in the Klütz area, from pristine beaches to long white sandy beaches in the Baltic Sea resorts, between the Bay of Lübeck and the Bay of Wismar. From Grundshagen, it is approximately 2 km to the natural beach in Steinbeck. Cliffs and coastal forests, long flint fields, and a bike path on the former border strip. From there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea and it's a natural feast for the eyes. Strolling here is a wonderful way to unwind. Simply enjoy the fresh sea breeze blowing around your nose and switch off from everyday life. The popular white sandy beach of Boltenhagen is about 5 km away (also easily accessible by bike). Here, you'll find ideal conditions for that long-awaited (sun)bathing, for sports, games [and] exercise, and long walks; children can build sandcastles undisturbed, all year round. And if you feel like shopping, you can browse to your heart's content in the numerous boutiques and small shops on the promenade. The Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen awaits its guests with a long pier, a spa gardens, a promenade, and numerous cafés [and] restaurants as well as smaller shops. Personal recommendation from the landlord: Have a wonderful time swimming with your children at the Wohlenberger Wiek beach in a 100 to 300-meter-wide shallow water zone with depths below one meter. For a beach day with or without a dog, we also recommend Brook Beach, in the far west of the Nordwestmecklenburg district. It's a great place to unwind. Provided you like a beach as nature intended, it's worth a visit any time of year. Our tip: Many concerts and open-air events take place in the spa gardens during the season, attracting locals and visitors alike. So, there's always plenty of entertainment to be had here. Other things to note Infants and Toddlers Please note that infants and toddlers generally stay free of charge on Airbnb and do not pay for accommodation or any linen package. Therefore, linens are not provided by the host. However, if needed, they can be rented or provided for a fee. Please note that Airbnb does not include pet fees. These will be billed separately by us.
