Surfside is a luxury getaway for couples and one small/medium dog. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located space situated directly next to Port Kembla Beach and a 10 minute walk, 2 minute drive to the vibrant Wentworth Street precinct home to cafes, restaurants, bars, music venues and art galleries. Surfside is situated just 300 metres from the iconic patrolled Port Beach awarded one of NSW's best beaches and well kept secret. The space Enjoy an open plan town house with breathtaking ocean views that extend along the coastline to Bass Point and is bordered with bushland reserve. Step out of your front door onto a public laneway which leads you directly to the beach allowing easy access to surfing, fishing and swimming. Not only does Port Beach welcome dogs it also has the added bonus of a free 50 metre saltwater pool for those that prefer to swim in calmer waters. Please note that the beach and pool are patrolled during the swim season only late September to late April. RESERVED FOR JUST TWO GUESTS WITH NO OTHER OCCUPANTS OR SHARED SPACES MIN 2 NIGHT STAY PETS WELCOME UPON HOSTS APPROVAL. SORRY DUE TO ALLERGIES WE UNFORTUNATELY DO NOT ALLOW CATS. Surfside is a three storey townhouse. You will enter via the ground floor by remote control access into the garage which allows you to house your car securely. On this level there is a laundry with washing machine/dryer and a laundry tub with a handheld shower head making the bathing of your dog extremely easy. This level leads to a private courtyard that has a natural gas BBQ, day bed, outdoor firepit and clothesline. There is also a solar heated shower at the entrance to the garage enabling you to shower off immediately after you arrive back from the beach. You will access the first level via the internal stairs also situated on this level. The first level of the townhouse comprises of open plan lounge/dining, kitchen and powder room. There is a large balcony that comes off the lounge area. It has an outdoor lounge allowing you to relax and enjoy the view. The lounge room also has an open gas fireplace for warmth in the winter months. The second floor has a huge bedroom again with amazing ocean views, reverse cycle airconditioning, king size bed, TV and smaller balcony accessible via double sliding doors. The top balcony also has a smaller outdoor lounge. There is also a bathroom that has a double shower, vanity and toilet. All linen is supplied. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS ANOTHER ROOM ON THIS LEVEL THAT WILL REMAIN LOCKED, INACCESSIBLE TO GUESTS AND UNOCCUPIED DURING YOUR STAY. Guest access Guests will access the property via a coded lockbox. The code will be disclosed to the guests on the day of arrival. Other things to note There is a minimum stay of two nights. Guests will be required to send us a photo of their pet for our approval. The complex consists of five townhouses in total. Please be respectful of the occupants of the other dwellings. Please keep noise to a minimum and no loud music etc. after 10pm. It is the guest's responsibility to leave Surfside in a clean and tidy manner. Please ensure that all kitchen utensils cutlery plates etc are washed, dried and put in their rightful spot before leaving. It is also the guest's responsibility to clean the BBQ after use.
