The Collins York

Take some time off to enjoy a historic getaway in the town of York. Put your feet up and relax with a good book in this gorgeous Heritage listed building built in 1907 by the Collins brothers, or head out for some beautiful views of Mt Brown and long walking trails along the Avon River, followed by some delicious food and drink at one of the local pubs or cafes. The Collins is located right in the centre of town. It is just a short stroll to the local cafes, pubs, shops, museums and parks. The space The Collins has two large bedrooms both with a queen size bed. The master bedroom has a small private balcony overlooking the main street of York. Both equipped with airconditioning, heating and electric blankets for your comfort. There is one modern bathroom with a rainfall shower head and large bathtub. The kitchen features everything you need to use while you are staying there. The lounge room has a small private balcony viewing the main street as well. Guest access Guests have full access to the first-floor apartment located above the York Newsagency. Access to the apartment is from the rear of the building with your own private carpark bay. Guests will need to be able to climb the stairs pictured. Other things to note Please be aware that the apartment is located above the York Newsagency. As the building was built is 1907 it can be noisy during working hours 8am-5pm. The apartment is on the main street of York so there is street noise during busy periods as well.
