At the foot of the Wallowa Mountains and the end of a private driveway, the Ponderosa House is only a few miles away from the best Wallowa County has to offer - the clear waters of Wallowa Lake, trails into the Eagle Cap Wilderness, and shopping, art galleries, and restaurants in Joseph and Enterprise. Sit on the deck with a beverage and enjoy amazing views of the Wallowa Mountains, Seven Devils Peaks, Zumwalt Prairie and the Wallowa Valley. The space At the end of a quarter mile private road on our 60 acre farm, the Ponderosa House is located in a private and serene setting. We hope you'll stroll down the driveway, enjoy watching the horses graze in the pastures, and use our home as a starting place to explore this beautiful part of the world. Guest access Guests have an entire 970 sqf living area with a bedroom, full-bath, kitchen, living room, and a large wrap-around deck. There are two queen beds, one of which is a sleeper sofa in the living room. The living/dining/kitchen areas are in an open floor plan with high ceilings and abundant natural light. We also love to cook and have stocked the kitchen with most (we hope) of a chef's needs. Guests are welcome to enjoy the yard within the surrounding pasture fences.
