"Stylish house, deceptively spacious, dog friendly too" Guillemot, centrally located, provides light, characterful accommodation. It is well equipped, tastefully furnished, a perfect base from which to explore. On cooler evenings the Morso wood burner creates a cosy environment, in summer the garden room and tranquil garden are a great place to enjoy morning coffee. The many delights of Beaumaris: ancient castle, pier, galleries, restaurants, cruises, etc all just a leisurely stroll away. The space THE GROUND FLOOR. The open plan, airy sitting/dining room has been sympathetically renovated and furnished with quality furniture and fabrics. On winter nights the wood-burner and ‘Hive’ central heating system ensure a cosy spot on the John Lewis sofa or accompanying easy chairs. The old oak table with stylish period dining chairs can be laid for informal meals or more celebratory occasions from the adjacent dresser holding more than sufficient cutlery, crockery and glasses. The Garden Room, stylishly furnished with mid-century Scandinavian chairs and accompanying table is a comfortable place to take morning coffee or enjoy quiet time. In the summer you can throw open the French windows which overlook a patio furnished with table and chairs, beyond which is a lawned space with a magnificent walnut tree. The modern galley kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, micro-wave, kettle, toaster, refrigerator (with ice box), electric oven /grill and gas hob. UPSTAIRS The carpeted stairs lead to a tiled bathroom with white suite, consisting of bath, overhead shower, washbasin and toilet, also Lloyd-loom chair. There are shaver plugs and a large heated towel rail. On the landing is a double, built in wardrobe which serves as extra useful storage space for both bedrooms. A spacious double bedroom looks out over Rating Row towards the mountains in the far distance. The bed and matching bedside cabinets with lamps, hanging rail and tallboy (cupboard and drawers) are all early Habitat. A large antique gilded mirror and paintings and Lloyd-loom chair complete the room which incidentally has plenty of space for a baby’s travel cot (supplied). The second bedroom has full size twin beds, matching chest of drawers, a charming peg rail , delightful prints and overlooks the gardens of the cottages. All bed linen is pristine white and towels are also provided for all guests. If you have a dog, his towel is downstairs in the under-stairs cubby, whilst his bath and hot/cold water taps (dual tap shower attachment) are in the yard beneath the kitchen window. We want him (her) to be happy, but downstairs please.
