A boutique Himalayan Pet friendly Cottage in Mashobra at an elevation of 7000 Ft, having breathtaking panoramic views of Shimla Valley. An exquisite home nestled away from the city crowd, having a private lawn and a beautiful Patio, a perfect getaway with family and friends. Ideally located- 15 km away from the commercial craziness of Shimla- 7 hours drive from Delhi / 3 hours from Chandigarh. Our property is only available for peaceful family getaways. Please read the detailed description below The space ~Property Layout~ * The cottage consists of 3 Bedrooms with attached bathrooms * One bedroom is located on the ground level and Two bedrooms are located on the upper level (first floor) * A stylish Living room with comfortable sitting for 6 guests, dining area with 6 seating dining table * A fully equipped kitchen is located next to the dining area * The property has a well manicured lawn, outdoor furniture * The highlight of the property is the beautiful Patio overlooking the forest covered Shimla Valley ~Accessibility & Movement~ * The cottage is part of a cluster of homes (township) called the Golfer's village. * The Visitor Parking lot is located on top of the township near the entry gate. * Guests will need to walk to reach the property from the parking. There are also 30 Steps to enter into the cottage, due to contour. ~Amenities~ * A Flat TV with DTH & Netflix has been provided in one bedroom * 100 MBPS Wi-Fi connection * Fully Equipped Kitchen * The bar cabinet is locked with our glassware which is not for guest usage * All bathrooms have storage water heaters for hot water supply (25 Lts each) * Fans/air-conditioning not required * Heaters/heat convectors have been provided in all rooms for usage in winter. * Electric Blankets have been provided in all rooms * Power backup is available through a UPS System * Fresh clean linen is provided at every check-in. Linen change is provided every 3rd day. * Daily Housekeeping is provided once a day at a fixed time. * Toiletries - Shower Gel, Shampoo, Hand Wash, and Tissue Rolls are provided. We request our guests to organize their own Dental Kit, comb, etc ~In-house Meals~ We have a meal package as below: *Rs.1200 per person for breakfast and one major meal (Lunch or Dinner) *Rs. 1500 per person for all meals ~Ordering & Dining~ * Dining options are available in nearby hotels * We have tied up with a local resto kitchen nearby and have prepared a selected menu with them for our guests (available at the property). Guests are welcome to order food using the menu. The food is prepared fresh, and all ingredients are bought fresh. The order should be made at least 3 hours in advance (between 10 AM - 7 PM) for the kitchen to prepare and deliver at the property. This encourages local community involvement to promote tourism. Our caretaker will heat and serve the food for our guests. ~Add Ons~ * Extra Linen change is chargeable @ ₹ 500 per room including towels. * No meals are included in the price * Barbecue apparatus is available at an additional charge of ₹ 1000 * Bonfire is available at ₹ 2500 for 3 hours ~Pet Policy~ * We welcome guests with pets, however the same is chargeable at ₹2000 towards a one-time cleaning fee. * Mess and poop to be managed by the guests. Pets are not allowed on the sofas or beds. Stay arrangements for helpers like cooks or drivers is not available at the property. We can help find accommodation within a 1-2 km distance at an additional cost (subject to availability). Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the cottage - the patio and a small private green lawn at the rear side of the apartment. Other things to note The parking for the property is in the visitor parking near to the main gate. Guests will need to walk to the cottage from the visitor parking. Our property is a private home and not a hotel. Please do not expect hotel kind of services at the property. We focus on cleanliness, good quality well-maintained linen, and homely comfort for our guests. The nearby stores selling basic groceries are located about 500m away. The market shuts down by 7:30 - 8:00 PM. * Water is scarce in the mountains. We request our guests not to waste water. Adequate water will be provided for your stay. If we observe a wastage of water, a water refill charge of ₹500 per day will be applicable.
