Cozy 7-person lakeside cottage with a hot tub

Welcome to Villa Forest Cove! This spacious and cozy cottage on the beach of Vähä-Roinen is ideal for families and larger groups. There is plenty of sleeping space, a private beach, an indoor and beach sauna, an outdoor hot tub, a rowboat, paddleboards and yard games. A well-stocked kitchen, indoor toilet, and cozy lounges make for an easy and comfortable getaway. Linens, towels and a hot tub - which can accommodate the whole crew - are included in the price. The space This cottage is a dear place to us – a place where everyday life is forgotten and you can just be. It is located on a quiet wooded plot on the shore of Vähä-Roine. The view over the lake is incredibly beautiful, you never get tired of it. We enjoy the most leisurely time here: morning coffee on the terrace, swimming from the jetty, gentle sauna on the beach, cooling off on the porch in the evening, sometimes listening to the sounds of the owl, dinner by candlelight, and on top of that, a hot tub under the starry sky. The decor is suitably 90s, cozy and a little retro, not a designer villa – but that's exactly why it's so relaxed and warm. There is accommodation for even a larger group: • Master bedroom with 180 cm American bed • The second bedroom has a 160 cm double bed • Upstairs summer room with 160 cm American bed + 160 cm sofa bed • 120 cm wide double bed in the upstairs lobby • 120 cm sofa bed in the beach sauna room The cottage has two wood-heated saunas and plenty of space to spend time together outdoors. The children enjoy the beach and the SUP boards, and bird watching on the lake is always just as enjoyable for us. Guest access Guests can use the entire cottage with courtyard, sauna building, beach and outdoor hot tub privately. There is also a rowboat, SUP boards (2 pcs) and yard games. Cars can be parked directly in the courtyard of the cottage with ample space for parking. The storage building in the yard is for the use of the owners and is not accessible. Other things to note 🐾 Pets: Not allowed due to allergies. 💧 Drinking water: The water in the cottage comes from the lake and is not drinkable. However, about 30 liters of drinking water are available. If necessary, more water can be obtained, for example, from the center of Hauho (about 20 minutes by car). 🚿 Water system: The cottage's water system works with lake water. The main building has a water pump that starts when, for example, a faucet, shower, toilet or dishwasher is used. The pump may make a momentary sound, which is normal. ♨️ Hot water: The size of the water heater is limited, so a larger group should schedule showers in stages or take advantage of the beach sauna's washing facilities. 🛁 Hot tub: Before entering the pool, it is important to wash and rinse yourself thoroughly. This way, there is no need to change the water between visits, and the next guests can enjoy the pool. The pool is filled with lake water, which is clear and purified, but may sometimes be slightly brownish. 🔥 Beach sauna: The water is carried from the lake itself and heated in a pot when the stove is heated. ⛱️ Beach: The cottage has a small, slowly deepening sandy beach that becomes more rocky and muddy deeper. The depth at the end of the dock is usually about 1.8-2 meters. On the right side of the end there is a stone, which you should check yourself if you are going to jump into the water. 🐟 Lake: The water is sure to contain bream, perch and pike, as well as crayfish. From Vähä-Roine you can reach by your own boat, for example, Hauho church village, Vihavuote or via Valkeakoski to Pyhäjärvi. You can launch your own boat from the trailer at Torvoila village beach. 📶 Connections: WiFi works in the main building. Telia's network works well, but Elisa's and DNA's coverage is weaker. 🛏️ Sleeping areas: - Two heated bedrooms downstairs. - One larger bedroom upstairs - In the sauna cabin, there is an unheated cabin that is heated by the sauna and the fireplace. ⚠️ Safety: The stairs to the upper floor are steep and narrow – not recommended for people with reduced mobility. 🦟 Animals on the plot: Summer cottages are the realm of tadpoles and newts, and they are sometimes here too. 😅 Snakes have never been encountered on the plot, but lizards can be found on the dock. Several bird species nest in the cottage area during the summer, and completely harmless bats are also found here during the summer nights. ⚡ Electric car charging: Possible with advance payment.
