Hickory Hall is the dream location for your country event! Offered as an add-on to True Ranch House, Hickory Hall is the perfect place for a country/rustic wedding, birthday party, reunion, graduation, & more. The 950 sq ft venue is set on 15 acres & is part of The Ranch in the Oaks. Total capacity is 40. Rentals are available. Roll up doors reveal the two patios that allow for seating or entertainment. There is a Loft Apartment above that is perfect for meetings, food prep, or sleeping for 4. The space The Ranch in the Oaks is a 15 acre gated property nestled amongst over 300 oak trees. The 9 acre pasture has a pond full of wildlife. The pasture is perfect for walking as is the rest of the property which has plenty of open space and lawn. There are many lovely areas for ceremonies to happen. The Ranch includes a 5 bedroom home (True Ranch House), a guest house (Country Cottage Guest House), and the Hickory Hall Event Venue, above which is a two bedroom apartment. Total sleeping with all three rentals is up to 14. In the barn live friendly horses, a mini horse and two precious mini donkeys. The patio is complete with fire pit and two stock pond pools, all surrounded by cafe lights to enjoy at night. The property is perfect for gatherings, weddings, parties, family reunions and the like. All spaces can be rented at one time, or rented individually. For an event such as a wedding, the ideal guest count is 35-40. There are furniture rentals available - round tables with chairs, long rectangular tables with benches, tablecloths, benches for ceremonies, hanging votives, table votives. The Ranch in the Oaks is a newly offered property and is ready to host your special event! Guest access When renting Hickory Hall for an event, guests have access to the building itself and attached patios, including the pools & fire pit. If rented for a wedding, the ceremony can be performed on the property in the guest’s desired location with the consent and oversight of the property owner. For guest count over 25, a parking attendant is mandatory and can be provided by property owner at an additional charge. It is highly recommended, especially for larger groups, that True Ranch House be rented in additional to Hickory Hall to give your group more space and prep area. Catering and rentals may be brought in and must be coordinated with property owner’s approval and oversight. Vendors must provide proper COI (certificate of insurance) to guest and property owner. This is standard and normal protocol with rental companies and caterers. There is a strict “no noise” policy after 10 pm and event must be concluded by 11 pm. Rental pick up and clean up must occur either day of event or following morning. If rentals are picked up on a day outside of the rental dates, an additional fee will be incurred for property owner to oversee pick up. For larger groups serving alcohol and providing rentals, guest must purchase event day liability coverage. This is easy to do, affordable, and property owner can advise on the process. This protects everyone in case of a mishap at the venue or with a guest. Property owner can direct guest in how to attain this coverage or property owner can attain it on guest’s behalf and charge guest back.
