Welcome to our modern, fully furnished home. This house is set in the town of Blaina and has outstanding views of the valleys right from the garden. There are many local walks around the area to suit everyone. The house has good travel connections with 3 train stations within 15 minutes from the house that go to Newport, Cardiff, and Barry. The Brecon beacons is easily accessible by car and makes for a great day out. The space Welcome to our modern, fully furnished home. The house is a semi detached with an amazing view that overlooks the valleys. The house can welcome up to 4 people with a king size bed in the main bedroom which also has an en-suite and a double bed in the second bedroom. There is main bathroom upstairs and also a downstairs toilet. The living room has French doors that open out leading into the garden which overlooks the valleys. There is Wifi available and a smart tv. The garden has three tiers. A patio at the top with a seating area, artificial grass on the second tier and a small decking area on the third tier making it an ideal place to relax in the evening watching the sunset over the valleys. The kitchen has a gas hob and an electric oven for all your cooking needs. There is also a microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available. There is parking available for guests on the driveway at the front of the property. The house is located approximately 30 minutes from Newport, Cwmbran and Merthyr. There are 3 train stations within 15 minutes drive that go to Cardiff and Barry. Recommendations of things to see and do: - Cwmcelyn Nature Reserve, Blaina This is a short walk from the house, you can see the Pond area from the Garden if looking to the bottom right. There is a pathway around the pond and a nature trail through the woods. - The Keepers pond (Pen-Ffordd-Goch Pond), Blaenavon The pond is located about a 20 minute drive from here in the village of Blaenavon. The pond itself is popular with paddleboarders and cold water swimmers. There is a walk that takes around 2 hours to complete that loops around the Blorange mountain and returns back to the pond. - Big Pit, Blaenavon Just a short 15 minute drive away. Experience the sights, sounds, smells and atmosphere of an authentic coal mine. Set in the unique Blaenafon Industrial Landscape and designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. - Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) waterfall walks The waterfalls are located around an hour drive from the house. The Four Waterfalls Walk is a circular trail that lets you discover four spectacular falls. - Pen Y Fan Around a 40 minute drive from the house. At 886 metres (2900 ft) Pen y Fan in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), is the highest point in South Wales and the views from the peak are spectacular! - Bike Park Wales Located around 25 minutes away, A home for mountain bikers from novice to professional, BikePark Wales has the UK's greatest and most diverse selection of all-weather mountain bike trails. Guest access Guests will be sent detailed directions and check in information prior to arrival. There is a parking space available on the drive of the house.
