At the entrance to the Ossau valley, Coume a Case is a charming 4-star gîte, which has its own access and private spaces, designed to slow down and fully enjoy the place. Light breakfast included each morning served in a basket. The house offers an inflatable spa for 4 to 6 people, a wood stove for pampering evenings, and a private garden. On site, Vincent and Nicolas welcome each guest attentively and share their good local addresses. The space A 4★ cottage at the foot of the Ossau mountains, designed for a stay in nature, relaxation and comfort. Settle into a peaceful place, surrounded by fields and animals, where wood, stone and soft light create a simple and authentic atmosphere. As a couple, with family or friends, everything is planned for you to fully enjoy a rejuvenating stay. The cottage is located near a small grocery store 5 km away for daily shopping. Supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, shops and medical center are accessible about 8 km away. The access path to the gîte, approximately 1 km long, is narrow but very lightly used, guaranteeing absolute calm. Once you arrive, you enjoy a peaceful environment, not overlooked, in the heart of the countryside. Each morning, a light breakfast basket is included in the stay. It consists of a pastry per person, a fruit juice and a hot drink in an individual pod. The basket is placed discreetly on the terrace of the gîte between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., so that everyone can enjoy it at their own pace, without ringing or disturbance. On request, we also offer tailor-made breakfasts, personalized welcomes (special occasion, gift, marriage proposal, etc.), meals served at the gîte on a plate or in a friendly version to share, gourmet aperitif platters, as well as a drive-thru shopping service: you order online, we collect and install your groceries before your arrival. Upon your arrival, a welcome treat awaits you: bottle of local wine or fruit juice, sweet treats and little touches for children. A treasure hunt designed especially for the gîte, inspired by escape games, is offered to travelers. Riddles, codes and surprises, for a fun moment to share with family, couples or friends. The cottage has three bedrooms upstairs, equipped with mattress toppers allowing single beds to be transformed into double beds at no extra charge. Beds are made on arrival, bathroom linen and bathrobes are provided. An umbrella baby cot with sheet and blanket can be made available. A private inflatable spa is freely accessible throughout the stay. We ensure regular monitoring of water quality and intervene if necessary. Outside, you can enjoy a fully enclosed and unobstructed garden, a dining table for six people, deckchairs, a barbecue, a swing and a natural living wicker cabin for children. The view opens onto the countryside, the forest and the mountains. Outdoor games are also available. Inside, the living room is equipped with a television with Amazon gateway (Netflix included), a Bluetooth speaker, numerous board games, books, comics and magazines. A wood stove allows you to enjoy cozy evenings; the first fire is free, additional wood is available for sale. We share the property with two dogs, two goats and a few chickens, in our garden only. Two curious cats may come to greet you. The local fauna is very present and it is not uncommon to see deer, hedgehogs or hares. Pets are welcome under conditions. Access to upstairs bedrooms is not permitted. A basket, bowls, a towel and a blanket are provided. Our dogs do not have access to the gîte area. The kitchen is fully equipped with airfryer, raclette/pierrade machine, hand blender, filter coffee maker and Senseo, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. The bathroom has a hairdryer, hair straightener, hotel-size soap and shampoo, as well as laundry detergent pods. Essential household products are provided, as are the necessary childcare equipment. The accommodation is non-smoking in the rooms. Mosquito nets are fitted to the doors for greater comfort. The cottage is located in the countryside, in the heart of a living agricultural environment: fields, animals, working farm. This is part of the charm of the place, with agricultural noises, and depending on the season, the presence of insects and scents characteristic of rural life. The entire cottage is entirely private for travelers.
