Welcome to your Darwin getaway! This self-contained 1 bedroom unit sits beneath our family home with its own private entry. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach and Casuarina Shopping centre, 8 minute drive to the airport and has easy access to bus routes and bike paths. Enjoy a brand new kitchenette, queen bedroom with AC, pool and garden access, and alfresco BBQ/dining in our fernery. Ideal for couples or solo travellers. Laundry available on request- we’re upstairs if you need anything! The space Set beneath our family home, our self contained unit has its own private entrance and offers a comfortable space to relax after a day exploring Darwin. The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, built in robes, air conditioning and ceiling fans to stay cool. The ensuite bathroom is fully equipped with all the essentials, so you can travel light and still feel right at home. Bath and pool towels are provided. The brand new kitchenette includes an electric cooktop, air fryer, microwave, kettle and toaster, along with all the cooking utensils and basic supplies you’ll need. The open-plan kitchenette, dining and lounge area is designed for comfort and flow, and stays cool thanks to the glass louvres and ceiling fans. It includes a dining table, ample floor space and a comfy lounge to stretch out and relax. There’s plenty of room to set up our complimentary portacot, making the space ideal for guests travelling with a little one. After a day of sightseeing, unwind by connecting your favourite music to the Bluetooth speaker, grab a book or game from the shelf and make yourself at home. Guests are also welcome to enjoy our pool, garden and outdoor dining area, which is set within our lush fernery- a lovely shaded spot to relax with a meal. You’re welcome to use our shared laundry on request- just reach out and we’ll make it available during your stay! Guest access You’ll have private access to the entire downstairs unit, including the bedroom, ensuite bathroom and kitchen, living and dining room. You’re also welcome to enjoy the shared backyard, garden, pool and outdoor dining/ BBQ area. Laundry access is available on request. We live upstairs and are happy to assist if you need anything- but otherwise, the space is fully yours.
