The space Your stay – Chalet Doux Refuge Welcome to Chalet Doux Refuge, a cozy retreat nestled in the heart of the Reunion Island National Park, in La Plaine des Palmistes. This modern and comfortable mountain chalet is perfect for a peaceful getaway with family, friends, or as a couple, surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air. The space includes: • 3 comfortable bedrooms, one on the ground floor with storage and a double bed, and two upstairs : one with a double bed, and the other one with 2 single beds. • 1 modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink, and washing machine, plus a bathroom upstairs with a bathtub and storage. • A living room with TV, Wi-Fi, and a relaxing lounge area. • A large dining table for family meals or friendly gatherings. • A fully equipped kitchen: oven, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, utensils, and a high chair for babies. For children : there are toys and family board games. Outdoors: • A secure garden for kids to play safely. • A picnic table and its benches. • A barbecue available on request, perfect for outdoor evenings. Nearby, you’ll find hiking trails, the Cascade Biberon waterfall, and the Sunday market, where you can experience local life and flavors. A peaceful and authentic place where nature, comfort, and serenity meet for a memorable stay. Additional notes : You must wash, dry, and put away all used dishes and utensils. The barbecue must be cleaned before your departure, otherwise additional cleaning fees may apply. Please place the garbage bags in the appropriate outdoor bins before leaving. Charcoal for the barbecue is not provided. Guest access All areas of the chalet are accessible to guests and can accommodate up to 6 people. You can reach the chalet via a driveway. Cars must be parked on the driveway and not on the grass. Other things to note For your information : -Our chalet is located in a quiet area of La Plaine des Palmistes, and we wish to keep it that way. We do not allow loud parties or big celebrations. -If additional guests wish to stay overnight, please let us know, as extra fees apply beyond 8 people. -The travel crib and barbecue are available on request. Please inform us of your needs before arrival so we can have everything ready in advance 🙂
