Reconnect with nature in our bespoke Shepherd's Hut near to Loch Lomond. Looking down into the River Endrick valley and with stunning views of the Campsie Hills. The hut is secluded and situated in beautiful open countryside for you to enjoy and unwind in a peaceful getaway with the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. The space Our cosy, bespoke hut includes a fully equipped kitchenette, a king size bed and a shower en-suite with Arran Aromatics toiletries . Fresh linens and towels are provided. There is plenty of storage under the bed and seating area for stowing away luggage etc. There's a dining table for two overlooking the stunning views of the Campsie Hills and a wood burning stove with logs provided, and more available on request for an additional charge. The hut is situated 30 minutes from Stirling, 40 minutes from Glasgow and we are a short 5 minute drive into Balfron village, where you will find a Bakery, Butchers, Co-op, Morrisons, newsagents and Cafe. Within 25 minutes drive you can find yourself at the beautiful Balmaha on the edge of Loch Lomond, Aberfoyle and the Trossachs, Glengoyne whisky distillery and Milngavie- for transport links to Glasgow. Guest access Self check-in after 3pm and self check-out by 11am. We live close by and are at hand if you have any queries or questions. The hut is situated at the top of our drive, which is about 0.3 of a mile. Once you turn down the farm road you drive straight till you come upon the gate with the Little Fort sign. Please open and park then close the gate behind you. We ask guests to keep the gate closed during their stay. The patio garden area is secluded for your enjoyment and relaxation, but we kindly ask to please refrain from entering fields so our animals can graze in peace. Other things to note Due to our country location a vehicle is essential. Access to the farm beyond your designated area is prohibited due to health and safety reasons for yourself and the farm animals.
