Spacious Poppy Guesthouse
Spacious Poppy Guesthouse
Bij de Salamandras
Description
Our guesthouse used to be part of an old stable, which we completely renovated with some playful details and a slight love for kitsch artwork. Our cozy retreat offers space for up to 4 people, featuring two comfortable double beds (180 and 140), a fully-equipped kitchen, and an outside terrace which borders our private garden. We have 2 bikes available for €4 per bike per day if you're interested (1 male city bike and 1 granny bike with child seat at the back). Best to let us know on beforehand The space The guesthouse is located at the back of our house, connected to the garden. It has an independent entrance and a small terrace in the front. Guest access The entrance of the house can be reached through our garden. The terrace in front of the entrance belongs to the guesthouse. Behind it is our private garden and we’re working on making that division more visible by creating an indigenous plant fence to shield your privacy better (and work on a prettier garden in general). Unfortunately, the plants need some more time to grow and it’s possible we sometimes need to pass the garden or that one of the kids escapes to the trampoline. Of course, we’ll do our best to respect your space and privacy during your stay. Until we have big and beautiful plants, thank you for your understanding! Other things to note Since we're still working on converting the house into our 'dreamhouse' we can use all the help we need! We're therefore also open to help/creativity in exchange for discounted/free nights, depending on the offer. If you have a nice idea, or you'd like a working holiday, please don't hesitate to write! At the moment, we could use help with the following: - painting the outside wall - Making a mural - landscaping/gardening - Woodworking (garden bench) - cleaning the roofs from moss Any other suggestion is also possible, we're open to collaborate!
