We’re around the corner from the Walton Mountain Museum and a stone’s throw from the Quarry Gardens. You can also kayak for miles along the Rockfish, replenish with an outdoor shower, and relax into the tranquility of the large screened porch. Opportunities abound for enjoying the outdoors from the comfort of home at this charming gem nestled on the edge of the wild. Guest access Guests have access to the entire living space, including kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a toaster oven and electric kettle, but no microwave to avoid radiation. Outside, there’s a fantastic southern facing screen porch, an outdoor shower, and walking path down to private riverfront access. Guests are welcome to paddle with the kayaks or enjoy swimming, while soaking in the amazing diversity of animals that call this place home— including otters, beavers, herons, eagles, and more! Other things to note Please note this is an old home full of life on the edge of the wild. As hard as we try, there are always a few bugs in the corners. This is not the place for those who want a sterile hotel experience. This is definitely the place for those who would like to enjoy a charming home with character and access to incredible nature.
