Other things to note Important House Rules & Helpful Information To ensure the comfort, safety, and cleanliness of our space for all guests, we kindly ask that you respect the following house rules: • No pets • No smoking anywhere on the property • No parties or social gatherings This is our second home, and we take great pride in keeping it in top condition for our guests and family. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a peaceful, well-cared-for space. Parking: The driveway is shared. When facing the home from the street, please park on the left-hand side. If you anticipate needing more than two parking spaces, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Water Information: The home uses well water with a water softener system. For stays longer than a week, you may notice the toilet bowl developing a yellow tint more quickly than you’re used to—this is just a result of the natural minerals in the well water. A scouring stick is provided under the bathroom sink if you’d like to use it. Regular toilet cleaner is fine for day-to-day use but may not remove the discoloration completely. Drinking Water: The small faucet on the kitchen sink provides filtered reverse osmosis drinking water, which dispenses up to 2 gallons at a time before needing to replenish. It’s perfect for drinking or filling reusable bottles. Safety Notes: • Please do not smoke or use open flames near the side door at the back of the home, as there is a gas line below that area. • A fire extinguisher will be available either under the kitchen sink or in the laundry room.
