Description
Step into your own private weekend retreat, a lovingly restored 3 bedroom, 1 bath on the grounds of our historic Chateau. History lingers in every detail. Once a retreat for gentlemen resting after country hunts, this 19th century haven offers serenity beneath canopies of centenary oaks, chestnuts, and elms. Here, time slows. Quiet mornings and evenings echo with soft sounds of hooting owls and frog song. It’s a place for restoration, and an opportunity to connect with nature and heritage. The space The Guest House features: • 3 🛏 bedrooms: A king-sized bed, a queen-sized bed, and a double bed with two single child-sized beds; all beautifully dressed in crisp linens, perfect for cozy long countryside mornings • 🍷 A spacious sitting area with antique and contemporary touches, ideal for unwinding with a book or a glass of local wine • 🍳 A charming full size, but small kitchen, stocked with essentials and just enough character to inspire impromptu breakfasts • 🚿 A bright, modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and loads of fluffy towels (of course) • 🌳 And just outside: a small private terrace shaded by old stone walls, with garden chairs for sipping coffee as birds chatter in the background Guest access Guests have private access to the entire Guest House, while access to the Chateau is by invitation only as it is the owners' private home. As a guest, you are welcome to stroll the château grounds, picnic under the chestnut and walnut trees, swim in the pool in the summer months (July through September), or greet the estate’s four resident dogs—who are very much part of the charm (and who take their hospitality roles quite seriously). Other things to note The Guest House is for your exclusive use, whether you are 1 or 6 guests. We are 55 minutes by car from Toulouse on the A64 and beautiful country roads. The best times to book are from July to September when the weather is warm and sunny. If you wish to come earlier, in April or May, the weather will be a little cooler, with rain showers and occasional vents d'autan.
