If you prefer to prepare your own meals, the shared kitchen is at your disposal, equipped with a refrigerator, stove and all the necessary utensils. In addition, a large table is available for you to gather during meals. As a special touch, the hostel offers a private kitchen where the staff prepares a delicious breakfast, available for an additional fee. Guest access To get to Bonete Beach, you need to make a prior appointment with a local boatman to make the transfer from São Sebastião or Ilhabela to the place. We may indicate trusted contacts to facilitate your arrival. The boat trip takes about 1 to 1.5 hours and must be scheduled in advance, as after a certain time (afternoon and evening), it is not possible to reach the southern end of Ilhabela, where Bonete Beach is located. Therefore, it is essential that you schedule yourself in advance. Another access option is through a trail of approximately 14 km, which takes 4 to 5 hours to walk. The trail begins in the Borrifos district, in Ilhabela, and can be done with or without a tour guide. We are available to guide you at any stage of the process, so please contact us before making your reservation, so that we can provide all the necessary information and guidance. We remind you that in Praia do Bonete there are no automobiles and it is not possible to arrive by car or motorcycle. There is no taxi, Uber or transfer by vehicle service. The only forms of access are by boat or trail. For the adventurers, there are boat trips around the region and some options for eating at night and having fun, although each establishment has its additional costs, not linked to our hostel. Bonete Beach offers a variety of activities for explorers, such as waterfalls and trails for all levels. It is important to come prepared, bringing what is necessary for the stay. Due to the remote location, power may be lacking at times of the day and night. For these cases, we provide solar panels to secure some support. We ask for patience and understanding, as we are in a small and distant community, with limited access to technology and no telephone signal.
