Sleeping 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, Marlpit Cottage is a charming, quirky cottage nestled in the beautiful, unspoilt coastal village of Salthouse, conveniently situated between Weybourne and Cley-next-the-Sea. With its rustic charm, the cottage is the perfect spot for peaceful retreats or a cosy base for families embarking on their North Norfolk adventures. The space House Layout Ground Floor As you enter Marlpit Cottage, you’re greeted by a small yet inviting entrance hall, with a WC to your right and the kitchen just to the left. The hall offers plenty of room for boots, coats, and bags, making it easy to settle in. The kitchen and dining area exude rustic charm and come fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare meals for the whole family. You’ll find a fridge with a freezer compartment, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine. It’s a space designed for convenience and functionality. The dining area, just off the kitchen, comfortably seats six, making it ideal for family meals and those quick dashes back to the kitchen for seconds! The living room is accessible from the rear hallway, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while catching up on the latest news, or directly from the dining area. With a Smart TV, stereo, and a cosy sofa along with two armchairs positioned in front of a welcoming wood burner, it’s the perfect spot to relax or warm up on cooler evenings. The space can also be separated from the dining area and kitchen by sliding doors. A back door leads out to the patio and a lovely country garden, offering a peaceful escape to enjoy the outdoors. First Floor All three bedrooms are located on the first floor alongside a family shower room and separate WC and hand basin. The primary bedroom features a comfortable double bed, along with a hand basin, bedside drawers, and lamps for a cosy touch. The second and third bedrooms each come with bunk beds and hanging space for clothes. Please note, the bunk beds are not suitable for children under 5 as they are positioned high. Both rooms can accommodate up to three guests upon request, thanks to an additional bed area at the top of the bunk in each room. Outside The garden at Marlpit Cottage is a delightful country-style retreat, featuring a lush lawn, charming shrubs, and a patio with garden furniture, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. It’s an ideal spot for relaxing, with plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting in the adjacent field. Whether you’re unwinding before or after exploring the stunning North Norfolk coast, this peaceful space is sure to impress. Notes Please note that the bunk beds require ladder access, to both the top and bottom bunk. The beds are a standard UK single size and therefore accommodate an adult, however they are not suitable for children under 5 or those with mobility issues. The garden is not fully enclosed due to some gaps in the hedge. Heating oil central heating. Pets well behaved pets welcome. WiFi is included but please be aware that due to the location of Salthouse, speeds can be temperamental. Linen & towels are included within the price. Please note that due to the height of the top bunks, the linen and towels are left but the beds are not made up.
