Your Waterfront Cabin Awaits! On a channel leading out to Kayuta Lake, this charming waterfront cabin offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. Wake up to coffee on your private dock, spend your days fishing, kayaking, or simply unwinding with a book on your screened porch, and end your evenings with cozy fires and stargazing. Two kayaks, a canoe, and life jackets are provide. Note: this is a shallow channel and a dream for fishing & kayaking, but not for swimming. The space This is a cabin located at the bottom of a hill right on the water- making it easy to enjoy without a strenuous set of stairs. There is a fire pit, dock, 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, a large picnic table, and outdoor chairs to make it easy to enjoy the outdoor space. The property is located on a channel that is home to baby ducks, lily pads, and fishing right off the dock or from a kayak or canoe. A motorized boat (not provided) would give you access to the entire lake and areas to swim and enjoy water sports. Guest access Due to safety reasons, the two loft spaces are not included in this vacation rental. Other things to note This cabin was built in the 1920s and is a quirky and fun little place! There is a free public boat launch on Kayuta Lake and you can dock your boat at the Campy Cottage! A boat would give you access to the entire lake with water sports and swimming. However, for the most zen experience: kayaking and canoeing while taking in nature along Baker’s Brook is a favorite, especially when the water is like glass during a sunset!
