Romantic Shepherds Hut & Wood fired Hot Tub

Escape to our cosy shepherd’s hut, tucked away on our peaceful family farm and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Come for the fresh air, quiet mornings and slow evenings. Soak in the wood-fired hot tub, toast marshmallows around the fire pit and curl up under a blanket as the sun goes down. With beautiful dark skies, it’s the perfect place to stargaze, watch wildlife and switch off from everyday life. A little countryside escape, where there’s nowhere you need to be and time slows down. The space The Shepherds Hut has one comfortable sofa which reclines to make one comfortable king size bed (bedding and towels provided) An indoor Little Lenny log burner (logs provided) A compact kitchen area with double gas hob burner, air fryer, drink/ food fridge chiller,cold water sink with pans, kettle, crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses and basic cooking equipment There is an easy chair, a dining table which is extendable and stools There is a lovely and warm gas- fired shower and chemical toilet located right next to the shepherds hut, no sharing here…. It’s for your sole use! A small television for live tv only although I’m sure if you’re technically minded you might be able to get Netflix Wireless smart speaker for music Great phone signal The Shepherds Rest is located in the same field as our family home (but it is an enormous field) We are always happy to have a chat but we also respect people’s privacy Guest access Upon arrival we will provide you with your own key fob for our electric farm gate Other things to note Please note that we are a working farm with livestock and machinery so please take care when arriving During the summer months we will be especially busy bringing the harvest in so tractors, trailers and combines will be moving in the main farm yard and on occasion be working well into the night. If you are interested in what farming involves you’re very welcome to come over to the the yard to see what we are up to The shower room roof is a little low so if you are over 6ft you’ll have to duck a bit Over the winter months when temperatures drop well below zero there may be the odd occasion when the shower may not be available due to frozen pipes however we always do our best to minimise this and do our very best to keep it running The steps up to the shepherds hut don’t have hand rails and are quite steep, my parents who are in their mid 80’s can manage them
