Unit consists of 3 bedrooms; 1 king bed in the master bedroom downstairs and 1 queen bed and one set of single bunk beds in the bedrooms upstairs. The downstairs bathroom has a tub only (no shower) while the upstairs bath has a shower stall. The kitchen has an antique wood stove which is not suitable for cooking but also has a working gas range. The house is hand built with beautiful woodwork and floors. Other things to note Please note that the driveway to Owl Hollow is over a quarter mile long and is single width. As it has a drop off on one side, it is not possible to pass a vehicle going in the opposite direction so please use caution, especially in inclement weather or in the dark. Please be aware that the house is on septic and our pipes are sensitive, and so we ask for special care that nothing but toilet paper is flushed. There is no garbage disposal in the kitchen and we ask that you do not dispose of grease down the sink. Please be considerate of the long term tenant in unit B and keep the noise levels down after 10pm. Owl Hollow was part of a family farm until very recently, held in the same family for generations. We’ve kept the traditional name it has been called for hundreds of years, and you can still hear the owls at night. It was once a peach orchard but is now forested mostly in hardwoods. There are the remains of the old family homestead on the farm near our firepit and the ruins of the original peach storage on the top of the ridge. Our house was built in 1993 by one of the family members who was a skilled woodworker.
