Le Grand Clos - Misanthrope Room

Formerly the largest farm in the village, this house was redesigned in 1840 to accommodate a main house, around a courtyard surrounded by impressive barns and green spaces, like a totally private village square. A secret garden, hidden from view, completes the architectural ensemble. The Misanthrope room takes its name from the colorful lithographs adorning the walls. The space In the main house, two master suites have been arranged to accommodate you in "Bed and Breakfast" mode for a minimum of 2 nights. The new owners of the place have chosen to preserve the spirit of this house and its character, ignoring the conventions and dictates of design. Thus, the furniture selected and purchased by the former owners is still present. Guest access Access is very easy, with the presence of a well-served train station, connecting Paris-Bercy train station to Lyon Part-Dieu train station. By road, the A6 motorway gives you quick access to Saint-Vinnemer in less than 35 minutes. Other things to note The living room remains a shared space in which board games, reading, or a simple exchange with other guests allow for a most enriching stay. Breakfast is included in the base rate and consists of pastries and local products (jam, honey...), a selection of hot drinks, fruit juices. Breakfast can be taken either on the outdoor terrace during sunny days, or in a specially equipped dining room accessible from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Towels and shower linen are provided, as well as liquid soap. Eco-friendly French-made bed linen is provided for the duration of the stay. Two pillows are provided per person. Water carafe and glasses in each of the bedrooms.
