A charming rustic oasis in the middle of the Finger Lakes of New York. Enjoy wine, friends, and solitude; as well as the beauty of the Finger Lakes. Whether you need a weekend or more, the Retreat is a perfect location for solace. There is no internet or TV. Good for long or shorter stays (3 days minimum) The space This is a private and secluded spot within minutes of several wonderful wineries. It has a unique view of Keuka Lake. It is a lovely place to relax in an intimate setting after a day of touring. A campfire site is available. We decided to pull out all of our Concord grape vines and in their place, opted for an eco friendly, pesticide free field of grasses, flowers and trees. We hope you will enjoy the new look and environmentally safe hillside. Guest access You will have access to the vineyards and the woods and, if I am here, will show you the winery. You may have glimpses of deer, fox, turkeys and all kinds of birds ... blue birds nest here. Grilling is available on the deck. The patio, overlooking Keuka Lake is used by guests as well. Other things to note You may come at a time when we are picking or pressing grapes and you would be most welcome to join us. The beds are king size and full size. There is a pull out bed in the main room.
