In 2018, we began restoring the classic mom-and-pop motels of Lake George, turning them into warm Adirondack-style retreats filled with handcrafted woodwork, rustic comfort, and a sense of place. Yes, we’re a motel — and proud of it. Not the chain kind, but the kind built when families took road trips, doors opened to fresh mountain air, and owners greeted guests by name. We can’t wait to welcome you. – The Lake Haven Team Guest access Everything that you need (e.g. shops, restaurants, entertainment) is within walking distance. The main "downtown" village is approximately 8 minutes walking (all side walks) and the pool is steps from your front door. A family-run (not ours) Italian restaurant that has been in business since 1954 is located directly across the street, as is a family-run (not ours either) breakfast place. There is parking directly outside of the unit. Other things to note Our family and team take pride in our property and we want our guests to have a wonderful experience. So, we encourage questions and inquiries before booking. Please let us know if there is anything specific that we can do to make for a wonderful stay. We greatly appreciate your interest and your business. WiFi disclaimer Please note that we are in the mountains with limited cell towers and cable internet service. When there is a surge of people in the area WiFi and cell service tend to bog down. Service is best early morning before 8 am and after 11 pm as usage is down at these times. This is not a problem just at our property but all over the area given the terrain and limited cell towers. Weekends are the worst of times and weekdays have much better service as there are less people in the area fighting for the same service.
