With hiking trails and rugged mountains just a short distance away, this is the ideal retreat for nature lovers. - 10 min drive from Lofotens famous hike Reinebringen The space - 10 minutes drive from the famous hike Reinebringen - 5 minutes drive from the ferry port Moskenes-Bodø - 5 minutes walking distance to three restaurants in the area: Havet, Maren Anna and Holmen. - 7 minutes walking distance from the start of Sørvågvannet / Sørvågen lake. This is the starting point of many famous hikes in the area (the ones you see from the house) - Walking distance 5-7 minutes to grocery stores (Matkroken, Joker). Both stores are open everyday (July, August) - 5 minutes walking distance to the cafe «Trygdekassen» where they sell warm waffles, coffee, food, cakes. - 10 minutes drive from Reine ferry port (no cars on the ferry, you park at Reine) which takes you to Vinstad / Bunes Beach (famous and beautiful white beach - open cafe in July) - 15 minutes drive from the highly professional and safety-focused kayaking company SAGA at Hamnøya - 7 minutes drive from SUP- board rentals or guided tours, contact Hallgeir SUP Reine - 40 minutes drive from the famous Kvalvika Beach (check out the trailer or documentary North of the Sun) - 10 minutes drive Gas station Reine (gas, food, souvenirs) -10 minutes drive from Bringen kafé for freshly brewed coffee and cakes & pastry. - Souvenir and gift shop "Butikken på Kaia" 7 minutes walk - 7 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk to the fisherman village museum at Å where you also can buy the best cinnamonbuns baked in a 150 years old oven. + restaurant «Brygga», serves breakfast, lunch and dinner - 13 minutes drive from Anita’s Sjømat/seafood where you get the most delicious fish burgers + other local and traditional food samples and souvenirs - 45 minutes drive to the fisherman village museum Nusfjord. Restaurants, cafe, shop, second hand outdoor gear - 37 minutes drive from Ramberg where you have some few shops for food, clothing and carpenter stuff, gas station, car garage. Restaurant at Ramberg Resort. There is a beautiful beach here called Ramberg stranda / Ramberg beach - 40 minutes drive from Flakstad Beach camp where you can eat, take sauna. They also provide professional surfer lessons, beginner and advanced - 1 hour drive from the town Leknes where the airport is located, more shops, Vinmonopolet/ Norway’s state-run liquor store, cinema. Also great hikes and beaches around here at Vestvågøy. - 1,5 hour drive from the charming town Henningsvær (restaurants, cafes, shops, views, city strolls) - 2 hours drive from Svolvær, famous hikes, restaurants , shops, escape room. Other things to note The house is charming and with a sort of retro style, mix of new and old. I bought the house late last year on my own. By renting it out for summer, I’m hoping to earn some money to do some changes like replacing the windows, installing a brand new bathroom upstairs and other needed renovations. However, the house itself is warm, cosy and charming- the opinion stated by myself and other visitors 😄
