My grandparents rented this little house at the end of the road, overlooking the Clouère Valley, and this since the 70s. Then my parents bought it and renovated it, enlarged it. With my brother we took over the torch and the house is now available for rent with its charm and unique location. Dovecote, torrent that runs down the hill, a natural area protected as a landscape with the Clouère in the background. The space House on 2 levels, renovated in a rustic wood and stone style, cozy, composed of 4 bedrooms for a total of 10 beds including 2 in the sofa bed in the living room, really for troubleshooting! ( with surcharge beyond 5 people ) Sanibroyeur toilet on the ground floor and upstairs, 2 bathrooms including one private, washing machine and dryer, pellet insert fireplace in the kitchen that heats the ground floor and part of the floor. Please note that the pellets are at your expense, about €5/day. Fireplace in the living room, currently not operational for rent. Outdoor terrace in front of the kitchen. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Large table for lunch in the kitchen and on the terrace. 17th century dovecote, Adjoining barn to park vehicles in the shelter River 100m away for fishing and walks, small stream down the hillside. Natural air conditioning in summer with thick walls! and the dovecote can serve as a shaded patio for lunch There are 4 bedrooms with 10 beds divided into 3x2 + 2 single beds, and 2 additional places in a sofa bed in the living room to help out essentially. please note that sheets are provided but you have to make the beds upon arrival thank you for your understanding. PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE GÎTE • Exact address: 3, Ablet, 86160 Marnay How the gîte works: • Check-in and Check-out: o Check-in time: From 4:00 p.m., not after 8:00 p.m. if possible! o Check-out time: Before 10 a.m. if possible, otherwise notify us for cleaning. o Check-in procedure (handing over the keys, etc.): in person we will give you the keys and explain the last details if necessary. Possible independently with lockbox, ask us. o Check-out procedure (return of keys, etc.): if we are not available when you check out, drop the keys in the mailbox of No. 3 (Patricia Sauvion) on the road o ARRIVAL BY CAR IN A COMMON COURTYARD: park in front of the open barn when arriving, without hindering access to other properties (gates and doors) o If the car allows it, you can enter the barn which serves as a porch and passage to the Gîte. o Vehicles (2 maximum) must park under our barn in priority, or in front of the adjoining wooden door. Beyond 2 vehicles or for a truck, the parking lot is 100 m on the road. • Gîte facilities: equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes), living room (sofa, TV, board games), 4 bedrooms (140x190 140x190 120x190 90x180 90x180 and sofa bed 2 places, bed linen provided, storage), 2 bathrooms (shower, towels provided), outside (terrace, garden furniture, barbecue) • Instructions for certain equipment: The toilet is a macerator, nothing should be thrown into the toilet bowl other than toilet paper! Waste sorting: There are glass bins and for sorting packaging.
