Our peaceful home in Okehampton is the perfect base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, with moorland trails, woodland walks and country pubs just minutes away. You’ll have secure bike storage, fast fibre WiFi, free parking, a quiet garden and a light self-serve breakfast included. We’re friendly, easygoing hosts - happy to share local tips or leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet. The space Your room is bright and comfortable, with blackout curtains for a restful night’s sleep. Just across the hall is your private bathroom, with a full-sized bath and an over-bath shower. Cyclists are especially welcome. We offer secure, covered bike storage, and we’re just minutes from the Granite Way and some of Dartmoor’s best routes. There’s a tea and coffee station in the room, plus all the essentials – soap, shower gel, shampoo, toilet roll, bed linen, towels, a bathmat and a non-slip mat – so you can settle in straight away. A light self-serve breakfast is included, usually cereal, porridge, croissants, cereal bars and fruit – along with tea and coffee. You’re welcome to cook simple meals - like heating ready meals, boiling pasta or popping a pizza in the oven - but as this is a shared kitchen, we ask that you keep it straightforward. Fast fibre WiFi and free parking are included. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available for £3 per load. Our home is in a quiet part of Okehampton, with country and woodland walks just moments away. Dartmoor’s trails are right on your doorstep, and local pubs, shops and cafés are just a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk. The train station is also a 5-minute drive, with hourly services to Crediton and Exeter. Guest access You’ll have a bright double room and your own private bathroom just across the hall. You’re welcome to use the kitchen for simple meals, and there’s a tea and coffee station in your room too. Secure bike storage, a quiet garden, and laundry facilities (£3 per load) are also available to help make your stay easy and comfortable. During your stay We’re friendly, easygoing hosts – Oscar, George and Milo the dog – and we want you to feel at home. We’ll give you space to enjoy your stay, but we’re always happy to share local tips or help with anything you need. Other things to note Milo, our calm and friendly retriever–setter cross, lives here too. He usually keeps to himself but is always happy to say hello if you’re a dog person.
