Guests expecting hotel-like services, guaranteed high-speed internet, or extensive modern amenities may find this stay unsuitable. The space 🌿 Malaiosai’s Happy Valley – A Peaceful Family Retreat in the Nilgiris Nestled gently in the quiet hills of the Nilgiris, Malaiosai’s Happy Valley is a warm, comfortable 4-bedroom villa for families, married couples, and verified corporate groups. It’s a homely, nature-filled space where you slow down, breathe fresh mountain air, and enjoy simple, happy moments with the people who matter. 🏡 The Space Property Layout • 4 Super Deluxe bedrooms • 2 rooms on the ground floor, 2 on the first floor • All rooms have attached bathrooms, identical layouts, and mountain views • Smart TV in every room Just to clarify on room allocation 😊 Our property has 4 identical rooms 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the top floor, all with the same layout, view, and amenities. Room allocation (including floor preference) is subject to availability at the time of check-in. If guests from the previous night continue their stay, the top-floor rooms may already be occupied. In such cases, we’ll allot the best available rooms on arrival. Thank you for your kind understanding. 🚫 Policy Note Unmarried couples and bachelor groups are not allowed unless it’s a corporate booking made directly by a company. 🛏 Bedrooms & Bathrooms • Spacious, clean rooms • Smart TV in every room • Attached bathrooms with hot water • Fresh towels, toiletries, and drinking water provided • Extra bed: ₹1,000/night • Children above 6 count as additional guests 🛋 Living & Common Areas • Comfortable 8-seater couch • 6-seater dining table • Kettle, filtered water, and basic crockery • Front and back lawns perfect for tea, reading, playtime, or stargazing 📶 Wi-Fi & Connectivity • Ours is the only Wi-Fi connection available within 10 km • Works well most of the time, but weather may affect speed • Fixing Wi-Fi immediately can take time due to limited service access in the hills 🔌 Power Backup • Full power backup available • Water heaters and room heaters won’t work during backup • Occasional fluctuations during rainy season 🔒 Safety • 24/7 CCTV cameras in common/outdoor areas • Free parking for up to 10 cars 🍽 Meals & Kitchen Access • Everyday rotating menu • Check with the caretaker daily for available dishes • No indoor kitchen inside the villa • Meals prepared in our outhouse kitchen by our caretaker/cook • Kitchen may be closed depending on staff availability we’ll inform you beforehand • Orders must be placed at least 6 hours in advance • Guests cannot use the kitchen; infant meals can be prepared on request • Outside food is not allowed to maintain hygiene and reduce plastic 🔥 Campfire & BBQ • Campfire: ₹1,500 (up to 4 hours) • BBQ Kit: ₹1,600 (1 kg chicken + charcoal + setup) Campfire Sharing (Optional) If you’re open to sharing, you can join a common campfire with other guests and split the cost. It often becomes a warm, relaxed evening with friendly conversations and new connections. Important Campfire Note Campfire wood is bought from the market (tree cutting is prohibited here), so kindly avoid using logs without notice. So if you're booking for a large group or want the entire villa, you'll need to make 4 separate bookings one for each room. Other things to note To ensure a safe, respectful, and pleasant stay, we request all guests to kindly follow these guidelines: • No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms. Guests may smoke on the lawn and are requested to dispose of cigarette buds in the designated bins provided. • Nature Safety First: Please do not step outside the property without informing our caretaker. The surrounding landscape is close to wild nature and may have wildlife—your safety is our top priority. • Quiet Hours: To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests and our caretakers, no loud music is allowed after 11 PM. We appreciate your cooperation and courtesy. • Eco-Friendly Stay: We take pride in keeping our property eco-conscious. Kindly avoid using plastic and help us maintain the natural beauty around. • Family-Only Property: This property is exclusively reserved for families. Kindly note that unmarried couples and bachelor groups (all-male) are not permitted. We reserve the right to deny check-in if this policy is not met. Pls note: We currently do not have dedicated restrooms or accommodation for drivers.
