The space This fully-furnished house is perfect for families or groups of friends who are looking for a unique and memorable vacation experience. ★ LOUNGE ★ Lounge in the open living room or basement complete with a high speed WiFi and a Roku smart flat-screen TV where you can enjoy your favorite streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Hulu, etc.). The basement also has a few fun games such as a foosball table, velcro dart board, and indoor basketball hoops. ★ KITCHEN ★ Need a break from the amazing local restaurants? The kitchen is stocked with utensils, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans; everything one would need to fully utilize the kitchen and make a home cooked meal. Full sized fridge and freezer. Drip coffee maker and toaster oven available as well. ★ BEDROOMS ★ Ready to rest and relax from all the Chicago adventures? Each bedroom is beautifully furnished with comfortable mattresses, blackout curtains and plenty of storage for clothes. Hangers provided. An air mattress or linens for the sofabed can be provided upon request. Please notify us in advance so we can have it ready for your arrival. ★ BATHROOMS ★ There are four full bathrooms stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries for your convenience (shampoo, conditioner and body wash). The master suite bathroom and basement bathroom feature a walk-in shower, while two other bathrooms include a soaking tub offering perfect spa-like relaxation. ★ PARKING ★ Two spots available in the driveway. No garage. ★ PETS ★ While we love our furry family members, we unfortunately do not allow pets. Guest access ✅ Easy Check-In Process for your rental agreement, ID verification, & security hold It’s just like when you check in at a hotel and give your ID and security deposit to the front desk, except our front desk is online! It's super easy to complete on your phone! We use a web-based system called Happy Guest, and you’ll receive a personalized rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple security hold (which is not a security deposit) to receive your arrival instructions. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay! Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Your personalized guidebook will give you all the info about the home, my favorite local spots, automatic early check-in notifications, and sometimes even late checkout! With our keyless entry, you can enjoy a flexible check-in any time after the designated check-in time on your arrival date and guests can conveniently gain access via the smart lock. Check-in Time - 4:00 pm Check-out Time - 10:00 am Other things to note ★ NO SMOKING ★ Please refrain from smoking anywhere on the property! Any evidence of smoke will result in a $200 fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning. Smoke monitor present. ★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★ Please treat our home with care. We kindly ask that gatherings remain respectful, avoiding disruption to our community as we have quiet hours from 11 pm to 7 am. This includes refraining from smoking, excessive noise. Noise monitor and exterior cameras present. ★ EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS ★ Before you arrive in town, we need to ensure our previous guests have checked out, that the housekeeping service and maintenance has been through the unit, and that linens and towels are fresh and ready for your visit. All this takes time and needs to be done before you check in. Due to this tight timeframe, we don’t typically allow early check-ins. In the event we don’t have a check out before your visit we can arrange an early check-in. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $64 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay. These upgrades are optional and include: 🛎️ Early Check-In: Early check-in is sometimes available, but not guaranteed. If the home is ready early, the hour before check-in time is always free, and if you’d like to get in earlier, it’s $20/hr. 😴 Late Check-Out: Late check-out is sometimes available, but not guaranteed. If it is available, it’s $20/hr.
