Welcome to our charming countryside retreat! Nestled in a peaceful village in East Sussex, our converted barn and rustic shepherds hut combination offers a cosy and unique getaway. Perfect for families or friends, this property is surrounded by tranquil countryside and is the ideal spot to unwind, and explore the local beauty. Whether you're looking to enjoy quiet village life, or visit nearby attractions such as the famous Glyndebourne Opera, our home provides the perfect base for your stay. The space Our property comprises one converted barn sleeping four and a separate shepherds hut which sleeps two. The barn has one double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a shared bathroom. The shepherds hut has its own bathroom and small kitchen/living area as well as a double bed. The barn has a kitchen table large enough to seat 6 along with a separate desk as a dedicated work space. The rest of the space includes a sofa area with a TV and log burner for sociable relaxing. There is also a table and seating outside on the patio for when the weather is nice that the bi-fold doors open out onto. Just to note the bi-fold door key is the same as the front door one for ease! Three cars can fit side by side in front of the small pedestrian entrance gate. Further parking is available in front of the large gate but please don't drive though it and onto the grass. If you're that way inclined, the property is also a perfect base for vineyard-hopping in the local Sussex wine area. Current local vineyards inlcude Rathfinny, Nyetimber and Bolney. Guest access The entire property. Other things to note There is a detailed house manual in the property which you will find on arrival detailing everything you need to know about the house and surrounding area. Please note that whilst dogs are welcome they are your responsibility and must be well controlled. The boundary fence is not designed to keep dogs in and they must not be allowed to get in with the horses nor onto the road. They must also not be allowed on furniture please or on the beds. Poo bags are provided and are under the sink.
