Welcome to Kelbaugh Cottage! A peaceful, cozy, perfectly located getaway, for outdoor lovers, skiers, road bikers and history buffs alike! Nestled in the foothills of the catoctin mountains 2 miles from Mount Saint Mary’s college, 10 miles from Cunningham falls state park, as well as others, options for hiking trails and views are plentiful.Minutes from Liberty mountain ski resort, golf courses, as well as a short drive from historic Gettysburg,Emmittsburg and Thurmont. A quiet retreat awaits. The space This is a brand new remodel! You are in essence staying in a brand new home.There are two bedrooms. One with a queen size bed, one with a bunkbed with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. There is one bathroom, in the bathroom you will find the washer/dryer. 1-4 adults, or 1-2 adults and 1-2 children will be plenty comfortable here. A fire pit with wood provided and grill with outdoor table are included! Guest access It’s all yours! Other things to note Wood for the fire pit is provided! There is a locked shed guests have access to as well for their bikes/boards/skis/golf clubs,and any other outdoor items you may bring and want to have secured. This is not a ski in ski out, but it is 6.3 miles from ski liberty and Carroll valley golf course. As well as 3 other courses close by. You are also a short drive to Downtown Frederick. Lastly the cottage is mere minutes from FEMA and the fire academy.
