Crooked Hut near Hay-on-Wye

The Crooked Hut is our most rustic off grid place with a sloping floor and crooked walls. It is nestled in the trees on the side of a bank facing out across the valley towards the sunset on our smallholding 3miles from Hay-on-Wye and about 1mile from Hay Bluff. Cosy with a woodburner, a gas ring for cooking, 12v solar lighting and phone charging, a coolbox, its own compost loo and a hand water pump drawing from the spring. There is use of shared shower and fridge freezer in the stables below.
