200-year-old house/guest house/agricultural experience - a room where you can enjoy the thatched roof up close

[Newly opened in April 2025!] This is a fully renovated guest house in a 200-year-old house in Chuo City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The Toyomi district was once a village that prospered from sericulture, and this old private house is a building that has been used for sericulture for generations. From the inside, the thatched roof is visible, and you can enjoy the old atmosphere with the beams, pillars, and sliding doors. You can relax in the countryside while enjoying the fresh air in nature. The owner also runs a tourist farm, and you can enjoy the experience of harvesting vegetables on site as an option. We can also provide a BBQ where you can enjoy plenty of seasonal vegetables. Please feel free to contact me. (BBQ requires reservations at least 3 days in advance.) Since it is a room-only accommodation, please use the attached cafe, cook in the shared kitchen, or eat at a nearby restaurant. The space The room is on the second floor and the ceiling has the original thatched roof, so you can really feel the old house. This is a private room that can accommodate up to 6 people with 4 single beds and 1 queen bed. There is also a private terrace overlooking the lounge on the first floor. You can relax reading on the terrace or spend an elegant time. ※ This is a room rental plan out of the 3 rooms in the hotel. The shower, toilet, kitchen and dining space facilities are shared. * Because it is located directly above the living room, you may hear loud voices until the lights go out. Please ask in advance if you are concerned. * The room is on the second floor. Please note that there is no elevator. During your stay There is a living space on the same premises, so I can come immediately if you have any problems. Other things to note ※ There is no curfew after check-in, but if you go out or enter in the middle of the night, please ensure that you do not disturb guests in the same room or neighbors. * Because there is a cafe in the facility, there are customers other than guests coming and going during the cafe's business hours (10: 00-15: 00). ※ Because it was originally a private house, the sound insulation is inferior compared to other properties. Please be considerate of other guests at night (especially after lights out). ※ Because it is a renovated 200-year-old house, drafts and sounds may be heard. The inner roof is a structure where the thatched roof can be seen as it is, so the straw may fall, but please understand that this is a unique experience of an old private house. 　 This inn is different from a business hotel, so please refrain from staying if you are concerned about old buildings.
