Welcome to our peaceful oasis on Laurel Lake - one of the cleanest lakes in New Hampshire! If you're looking for a place to relax after hiking Mount Monadnock or to have a week of summer fun with the family this is the home for you. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, spend your day kayaking and end it with an outdoor shower before laying in bed listening to the sounds of the loons. Enjoy local activities like hiking, breweries, berry picking and visiting scenic towns! The space This home is perfect for a large family or group of friends. The house is set back from the main road so it feels private and quiet. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful dining area, a full bathroom, living room and sunroom (our favorite place to relax and look out at the lake). The second floor has all four bedrooms and a half bath. Enjoy dinner by the lake at our outside dining area after fishing from the dock or kayaking around the lake. You'll find you want to spend most of your days outside on the patio, but if it's a rainy day we have board games, puzzles and a T.V. if you'd like to snuggle up by the fire and watch a movie. Other things to note This is a seasonal home and is not fully insulated. In the spring and fall months it can be cold if temps are low. The first floor has heaters, but the second floor does not and we use space heaters and heated blankets on extra cold nights. All the beds have heavy comforters and we're always warm while sleeping. The home has a 500 gallon septic holding tank. We ask that guests be mindful about water usage, but we will have the holding tank pumped on a regular basis. For longer stays, we may need to have it pumped mid-stay.
