Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable farm nestled between the vineyards underneath the foothills of the majestic Arangieskop mountains. Great for friends or family getaways. Book Kapok Cottage on its own (4pax), or for larger groups search for Asch House (4pax) and Garden Cottage (4pax) sleeping 12 in total. The space Kapok Cottage is a converted hay barn from the early 1900's with beautiful mountain and vineyard views. It has 2 bedrooms (1x double & 1x twin). Each room has its own en suite with a shower and toilet, and the main en suite has a bath as well. The house comprises of an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. The spacious stoep has a covered braai with outdoor dining space. The splash pool overlooking the mountains is perfect for those hot summers days. Yes, we are pet friendly, as we understand going on adventures without your best friends' are not fun, however we charge a damage deposit in case of any "accidents". We also love children and this is a haven for them. We have a crib and high chair available upon request for your little ones, and would be happy to supply a mattress for younger ones to share in a room for parents (max 1). A small linen fee may apply per booking. We have uncapped wifi throughout making this a great location for remote work or extending a weekend with a day on either side without compromising work responsibilities. Please note we are 7km and 10min outside of Robertson in the Keurkloof Valley on a well-maintained dirt road. You do not need a 4x4 or vehicle with high ground clearance to access the road - anything goes. Before heading into the valley, you go through a small informal settlement called Droeheuwel, which is made up of the local farming community working on the surrounding farms. We have 4 four-legged furries of our own and know they can be a handful, and therefore, we charge a ZAR 750 damage deposit. Even the most well-trained dog can become over-excited in these beautiful natural surroundings.
