The space Second floor private studio apartment attached to main estate house yet quiet and private. Living room/kitchen/bedroom is one room; however, bedroom area is divided by center entering and exiting staircase - queen bed sleeps 2 and a folding twin camping style bed is offered for an additional guest. Other things to note *NEW*: Guests can now reserve our private poolside pavilion for special events or a relaxing afternoon (with continued shared access to the pool) for an additional fee. *NEW* The parking lot directly before our property, for the Hudson Valley Rail Trail, is now installing electric vehicle chargers! A great perk for our electric vehicle drivers. This is a beautiful second-story apartment; however, please note that it is not childproof and does not have a baby gate or a place to secure one at the top of the stairs. For safety reasons, we recommend that guests with young children use extra caution and/or consider renting one of our other rentals on the same property instead, as we regularly host children in those. The apartment is best suited for adults, families with older children, or guests comfortable with a staircase inside the home. As a reminder, the occupancy for this unit is 2 people. We want all of our guests to have a safe and enjoyable stay, so please plan accordingly. *NEW* Each unit now includes a convenient wall-mounted iron (in a heatproof bracket) and a compact stand-up ironing board.
