Spacious living in the historic school building directly above our small village pub, where you can end the evening after exploring the nearby hiking trails and day trips in the wonderful Hunsrück. The space The apartment on the 1st floor of the historic school building is 78 m² and has two bedrooms each with a double bed and an extra bed (folding bed). The main bathroom with shower and toilet is adjacent to the large bedroom and can be reached via three steps. From the hallway you can reach a toilet via three steps. Children's travel cot on request. Bedding is available; please bring your own hand towels. Guest access In the outdoor area, you can barbecue in the pub's beer garden at a fireplace (freely accessible at any time). You can also sit comfortably there. Here guests can get in touch with the locals and hear interesting stories. The village pub is open from 5 pm on Wednesdays to Sundays. If you don't feel like locals and want your peace and quiet there, this is also possible outside of opening hours. We are very familiar in our village and warmly welcome everyone! Other things to note Next to the apartment there is a small butcher shop where you can buy sausage, meat and baked goods on Fridays and Saturdays. Eggs from our own chickens and seasonal fruits and vegetables can be requested from the host. A small supermarket, pharmacy and banks are located in Herrstein, 2 km away. Around Breitenthal and in the surrounding area there are beautiful hiking trails (so-called dream loops). The gemstone town of Idar-Oberstein is about 12 km away.
