Cozy & Comfy Chase the Sun Love the Moon Apt

A private entry and plenty of on street parking make arrival and departure easy. The comfortable living room has a pull out sleeper sofa that sleeps two people as well as a pull out twin bed. The kitchen has a full size stove and refrigerator as well as a toaster oven and electric kettle. One bedroom has a full size bed & the other has a twin/trundle. The Apartment is in what back in the day was the town doctor's office and is attached to the owner's house. We think you'll be very comfortable! The space The apartment door opens to a long main room that is sectioned into a a small entry area with a mirror to check your look before you walk out, a table for quick drop of items, and a coat rack, the living room area with pull out sofa/bed, ottoman with single bed pull out, and a comfy arm chair, and an eating area with a cute table and chairs for four. Additional chairs are available. We also have a high chair and toddler chair for the table. This area has a floor fan. There is a full bathroom with stall shower. We usually keep shampoo/conditioner, body soap, face wash, band aids, and sun screen. We always have toilet paper and plenty of bath and hand towels. There are also wash cloths and make up wash cloths. The bathroom also has house made hand soaps and salt scrubs. The kitchen has a full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric water kettle, French press, dish rack, utensils, plates, bowls, serving bowls, pots and pans, measuring cups, knives and other food prep utensils. There are plastic items for children's use. House made tea varieties are stocked and there is usually coffee. Paper towel is supplied. The bedrooms are entered from the kitchen and currently there is not a door between the kitchen and the first bedroom. The first bedroom has a twin bed with a pull out twin trundle, a small shelving unit and fan. The second bedroom is entered from the first through a pocket door. It has a full size bed, dresser, vintage white shelving unit, closet, a window air conditioner, and a fan. A pack and play and/or toddler mattress are available by request. There is a broom/dust pan in the kitchen and a small vacuum in the hall to the bathroom. Small plug in nightlights are in each room. Outlet covers and an extension/surge protector are in the microwave cart drawer. Uno, card decks, kid toys/books are available. There is one window a/c in the second bedroom. There are room fans. The apartment shares walls with the owners' home. No form of marijuana (weed, pot, etc) may be used while staying at Chase the Sun Love the Moon properties. No tobacco use of any type and no vaping or e-cigarette use is allowed on the property. No parties please. Guest access Guests have entire use of the apartment. Guests must request access to the fire pit in advance. The backyard is not regularly available to guests. Other things to note Quaint downtown Milan is a few short blocks away and you can find great coffee, an amazing bakery, restaurants, and shopping. The University of Michigan is about 13 minutes north and The University of Toledo is about 30 minutes to the south. The Detroit airport is 28 minutes east and the Detroit River Walk is 50 minutes east. The Apartment stays cool due to the shade provided by established trees and fans in the bedrooms and the living room. The windows all have screens and open to allow a cross breeze. There is one a/c window unit in the second bedroom. There are fans in each room. The home owners have a therapy dog in training who is occasionally in the backyard.
