The Little Homestead Haven

Welcome to the Little Homestead Haven! Whether you are looking for an anniversary getaway or if you are traveling through the area and looking for a relaxing spot to rest, you will thoroughly enjoy your stay here. Relax and take a soak in the hot tub, while the soothing jets work the tension out of your muscles. It is located less than 2 miles east of Arcola and just off Interstate 57 on Rt. 133, 30 minutes to Champaign airport and right outside of Amish country. The space This tiny house includes a full kitchen with a small dining table for two. There is a full bathroom stocked with towels, toilet paper, and other bathroom essentials. There is one queen bed and one queen air mattress. If you need the air mattress, it is under the bed and the extra blankets and sheets are in the cabinet above the refrigerator. There are a couple of living room chairs and some board games for your entertainment.We intentionally keep this space Wi-Fi-free to encourage rest and real connection. Bring a book, play a game, or just enjoy the stars — no notifications needed. Outside, there is a hot tub on the covered patio so you can use it in any weather. There are four chairs around a fire pit. There is fire wood available. There is a small charcoal grill available if guests would like to bring charcoal to use it.Around the property, you’ll see a few animals — a horse, a pony, rabbits, miniature pigs, ducks, and chickens. They’re not ours but belong to our renter. Guests are welcome to enjoy watching them and giving a bit of friendly attention There is another home on the property. It is separated from the tiny house by a large grassy area and a few trees. You might see them come and go, but thats about it. Guest access The tiny home has it's own driveway that is easily accessed by the road. There is a Little Homestead Haven sign at the end of the driveway. Other things to note The front outside light has no switch. You can turn it on and off with the lower right switch in the breaker box. The breaker box is located in the kitchen closet above the garbage can. This property is sorced with well water. It is safe and good to drink. If you would like to bring your own water, feel free to do so.
