Cozy furnished apartment (2 rooms) on level 2 in a villa in a quiet area in central Pajala. "Äijän plakkari" is Meänkieli for grandfather's pocket. A booking of the accommodation always means your own access to the entire upper floor, never shared with other groups. The apartment has uniquely decorated "Blue Santa's Room" & "The Forest". Restaurants, grocery stores, etc. are only a 5-minute walk from the property. The space The apartment has a double bed and a single fold-out guest bed to place in the room you want. Dining furniture, refrigerator, electric kettle and microwave. The apartment includes bed linens, bath towels and coffee/tea. Household utensils are available in the form of glasses/mugs, and disposable plates, mugs & cutlery. Corkscrew, bottle opener, knives & cutting boards are available. Toilet with shower cabin. In summer, the AC cools nicely according to your needs. Guest access Guests have the upper floor to themselves, away from the host. Guests come and go as they please with a key. Large plot to stay on in summer, sunbathe, play croquet, for example. The forest is right next door if it appeals to you. Other things to note Cats are on the property: These are let out/in (very unusual in winter) by the host and are nothing guests need to think about. The cats do NOT have access to the upper floor, but traces of cat are found in the ENTIRE house, for allergy sufferers to be aware of. Responsive? that can be expected in a "normal house". Hosts and guests become a bit of a family in the villa and show mutual understanding of sounds between the floors. Glass floor A section of glass flooring is located in the floor's hall floor. This was installed many years ago to allow light to enter. It's a unique detail but guests may prefer to have this covered and just roll a rug over it :)
