Countryside Escape for 2, Rotherfield, East Sussex

Escape to our charming, self-contained, annex for 2 in the beautiful countryside of Rotherfield, East Sussex. This property is best suited to those with a car - taxis are few and far between. Royal Tunbridge Wells (6 miles) is worth a visit, especially The Pantiles. Ashdown Forest - that inspired the adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh - is 12 miles away. Or, if it’s sea air you are after, you can explore a little further to Eastbourne or the Birling Gap and the Seven Sisters. The space This is a beautifully refurbished, self-contained, annex. It has a double bed, with an open-plan kitchenette, table and chairs, and an ensuite. The bed will be made-up with fresh linen for your arrival; each guest will also receive a bath and hand towel. There will be tea, coffee and milk so you can make a cuppa on arrival. In the bathroom, there are Faith in Nature toiletries. The property is set within the grounds of our family home. We have a two acre garden (very much our pride and joy), so please do feel free to have a wander. We also have an Orangery that our guests can enjoy, which overlooks the garden - it is a perfect spot to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet with a cuppa or glass of wine. It’s a great space for solo travellers or couples seeking an escape. Guest access We will provide all details in the lead up to your stay. Other things to note Hi, my name is Tracey. My husband, Robin, and I have just finished converting and fully refurbishing this build. We are really excited to start hosting within the grounds of our family home. Our children have long flown the nest so we want to open up the space.
