The space SKIPTON VOTED HAPPIEST TOWN TO LIVE 2025 This charming two-bedroom cottage is full of personality and thoughtful touches. The living room features a gas flame fire, a Smart TV with Sky, and a DVD player, making it the perfect space to unwind—whether you’re reading, watching a film, or simply relaxing after a day in the Dales. The adjoining dining area has another feature fireplace, adding to the cottage’s warm, inviting feel. It also has a sofa bed that can be used (bedding can be supplied for an additional laundry charge). The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, all necessary cookware, and a Tassimo coffee machine for your morning brew. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a beautiful iron fireplace, a vanity table, and a Smart TV , making it ideal for watching in bed. The twin bedroom offers plenty of wardrobe space, ensuring ample storage. The bathroom is modern and features a spacious double waterfall shower. Step outside to a small courtyard with flower beds, a quaint garden gate, outdoor lighting, and herb planters that guests are welcome to use. Cushions and throws make it a lovely spot to relax. There is a secure lockable outhouse in the garden with a washing machine that can be used as a drying room for wet clothes and boots or to store bicycles. For entertainment, enjoy a selection of DVDs, books, board games, and jigsaws. A collection of local area guidebooks is also provided to help you plan your adventures. The cottage has fast WiFi, making it ideal for working from home, and a good heating system with extra warmth from the fires for added comfort. Private parking. Skipton is packed with things to explore: • Canal boat trips, boat hire, and cruises offer a relaxing way to see the town from the water. • The large town market runs four times a week, offering fresh produce, crafts, and local goods. • Skipton Castle, one of England’s best-preserved medieval castles, is just a short walk away, with beautiful woodland trails behind it. • Visit Skipton Museum and Town Hall to learn more about the area’s rich history. • Enjoy live music venues, real ale pubs, bars, and a variety of restaurants offering everything from traditional Yorkshire fare to international cuisine. • Cinema and theatre options make for great evenings out. The following towns are within an hours drive: Settle, Ingleton and Clapham. - The cottage can also be a base for hikers wanting to explore the three peaks. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire property, including private front and back entrances. Parking is available roadside or in a private space at the rear. Towels, bedding, toiletries, and a Tassimo coffee machine with pods are provided. Other things to note Towels are provided. Pets: Dogs are welcome but we ask that they do not sit on the sofas or go upstairs and if possible you bring your dog beds and blankets. • Smoking: Not permitted inside the property. • Noise & Parties: This is a residential area—please be mindful of neighbours. • Check-in: Self-check-in via key box. • Local Park: A park with a play area is located just opposite the cottage.
